Jeannine
Lacquement
Executive Director, Instructor
Jeannine Lacquement, founder and Director, received her BA in Dance from Goucher College and has over 30 years experience teaching dance and drama. She has used the combination of faith and movement as a means of therapy with children and adults with developmental challenges in schools, nursing homes, group homes, and training centers. Jeannine has been asked to speak at women's groups and retreats. She believes God's calling in her life is to raise up worship leaders who will take the Kingdom of God with them wherever they go and use dance as a means of honoring God, communicating the Gospel, engaging in spiritual warfare, advocating for the needs of the poor, teaching the way, the truth, and the life of the Kingdom of God, and inspiring faith in the one true living God.
Assistant
Teachers
Many COTLD dancers, as they mature in their faith, feel called to be assistant teachers. After years of being discipled by Jeannine, they assist her in the classes that are offered to the elementary age dancers. With lots of joy and youthful exuberance, they use their gifts of teaching and choreography to lovingly instruct the younger dancers. This is a beautiful part of the COTLD ministry as the older dancers mentor the younger ones and provide wonderful role models.
